getting down under

since we're undergoing training for an aussie account, the kiwi's gave us some lectures on their slangs. here are some that got me fascinated:

barbie: barbecue (noun)

bored shitless: very bored

bush oyster: nasal mucus

bushman's hanky: emitting nasal mucus by placing one index finger on the outside of the nose (thus blocking one nostril) and blowing.

cockie: cockroach

doodle: penis

earbashing: nagging, non-stop chatter

freckle: anus

kangaroos loose in the top paddock: intellectually inadequate ("he's got kangaroos loose in the top paddock")

mozzie: mosquito

randy: horny

rip snorter: great, fantastic - "it was a rip snorter of a party"

sheila: a woman

technicolor yawn: vomit

wuss : coward; nervous person or animal
