goodbye multiply, hello wtm

just found out that multiply has removed the download link for music files. here's what i found about it:

multiply inc. sued by major label
capitol records, and a host of other entities owned and/or controlled by label giant emi music, sued the company multiply inc. in the united states district court, southern district of new york. plaintiffs allege copyright infringement arising from unauthorized use and exploitation of original sound and video recordings by encouraging and enabling users of multiply to upload and share performances of well-known musical groups.

awww, so much for free mp3's. so i tried looking for alternatives and i stumbled upon a discussion at yahoo answers that there's this site that has a huge collection of mp3's. the site is wheresthatmusic.com

so i gave it a try and oh boy, they do have lots of mp3's. name it and chances are, they have it! and they even have opm's! (that's short for original pilipino music in case you don't know).

so it's goodbye multiply and hello wtm! ^_^

update: got this from jepoy. you can still download music from multiply. you just have to play the music at your windows media player and click save media as at the file tab. hoorah! so it's totally not goodbye multiply! thanks bro! ^_^
